KORN
I moved from Recife, Brazil, where I am originally from; to Memphis College of Art to attend art school. Shortly after graduating I moved to Brooklyn where one of my first jobs was at Feigen gallery, working on archiving the late artist, Ray Johnson's work.
While living in Brooklyn I was very involved in ACT UP, Lesbian Avengers and FED UP QUEERS. Activism took center stage for many years.
Eventually I moved to Beacon, NY and worked casting glass and then transitioned to working at a fine art foundry for almost a decade. I am now working mostly in my own studio. After years of exile from my own work.
