FARM PROJECTS

We are pleased to announce a community arts event to show solidarity with Ukraine and raise funds to help support the plight of Ukrainians impacted by the ongoing war.
Artists will be displaying donated artwork for sale, with all proceeds going to the Polish Center for International Aid. The center works with Ukrainians and helps to “provide humanitarian aid, assist the evacuation process and grant psychological support to the most vulnerable victims, especially children.”
In addition to the art exhibition and sale, there will be activities for children, an interactive photography project, and Ukrainian snacks. One part of the exhibition will feature prints made collaboratively by a group of local artists, printed at the Fine Arts Work Center with Vicky Tomayko and Bert Yarborough. All the work was donated by artists as a way to contribute and form community. The work will be sold at a discounted price in hopes of encouraging a wide range of people to buy art and come together to support Ukraine. The exhibit will also be online at farmprojectspace.org to allow wide-ranging participation. This project was organized by Agata Storer, Abe Storer and farm projects with the help of so many.
In the face of recent tragic events, we are hoping that this event will shed some light by using art and the power of community to make positive change, however small. We hope that you can join us.
